Ocelot

The average lifespan of an ocelot in the wild is around 10 to 13 years and 20 years in captivity.

On average these cats grow to be 29 - 34in, their tails making up most of this length being 10 - 16in long. Male cats can grow to be 15 - 34lbs while females weigh between 14 - 25lbs.
Tapir

Tapirs have a special long snout called a proboscis (similar to an elephant). Tapir use their short trunks to pluck leaves from trees as well as sniff their way through the jungle.

Tapir can eat up to 75lbs of food a day! Though they mostly forage leaves and twigs, palm fruits are an important part of their diet, especially during the dry season when fruits are hard to come by.

In the wild they can live for up to 30 years. On average these animals grow to be 6.5ft long and weigh weigh anywhere from 550-700lbs.
Coati

The Coati is a close relitive of the racoon, with long bushy, raised tails and long pointed snouts. They use their snouts to access food under rocks, logs, and in crevices.

Coatimundi are omnivores so their diet ranges from fruits, inscets, eggs, and a varity of reptiles.

In the wild these animals live to be around 7 years old and grow to be about 8.7 lbs. The typical body length is around 26 in with their tails being similar size.
Howler Monkey

Howler monkeys are well known for their distinct roar like howl. These howls rank the black howler monkey to be one of the loudest land animals on earth.

The typical life span for these animals is 15 to 20 years. The males can get up to around 30lbs, the females are significantly smaller growing to be about 16lbs.

Howler monkeys tails are around the same length as their bodies being 24 to 26 inches long.
